🏴Great men of history Yazid ibn Thubayt Abdi He was a Shia from the tribe of Abd Qays from Basra. After receiving Imam Hussain’s letter to the people of Basra, he left Basra along with his two sons, Abdullah and Ubaydullah, and reached to the Imam in Mecca. On the day of Ashura, his sons were martyred in the first attack and he himself was martyred in a man-to-man battle.
